What is the most interesting experience or story that you and your band have had over the time of your playing together?
The performers in the group have had the honor, over the years, of appearing at the Inaugural Balls for five different Presidents.
Have you met any of the band members from the original group and if so, how have they reacted to your show?
We have been fortunate enough to be joined by former original members of Motown groups such as The Marvelettes, The Four Tops and The Temptations.
Tribute bands have become tremendously popular throughout the country and there are many covering the same original bands. What about your tribute band makes you stand out from the others that are out there?
We believe that the show, in its entirety, covers the entire golden years of Motown through the 1960’s and 1970’s both historically and musically.
What is your favorite song from your repertoire and why? Do you play the same set list at each concert?
“My Girl” by The Temptations always stands our as an American classic and attracts numerous encores!
What led you to want to perform this music? Was this group one of your favorite groups growing up or was it just happenstance that led you to play their music?
My generation grew up with Motown music as the primary genre of our youth and through today.
Anything new and exciting on the horizon for your group?
Hopefully another 20 years of performing at illustrious venues such as yours!
Is there anything else you would like people to know about you/your performance?
We hope, when you exit the performance, you feel the tremendous impact that these musical treasures have had on their audiences going on five generations!
