Classic Albums Live, Fleetwood Mac's Greatest Hits

January 02, 2021

Old School Square Pavilion, Delray Beach 8PM

Fleetwood Mac have been rock’s greatest soap opera for five decades – from their Sixties origins in the English blues-rock scene to their Seventies reinvention as California rock superstars through their smooth Eighties hits and right up to today. The soul of the Mac’s magic has always been their songs via the talented songbird Christine McVie, mad drummer Mick Fleetwood and ultra-reliable bassman John McVie connecting with the Southern California songwriting team of Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks. What brings it all together is an almost mystical chemistry wrought from grueling personal drama and heartbreak that they somehow found a way to turn into some of the most beloved rock & roll of all time.

Classic Albums Live performs Fleetwood Mac’s Greatest Hits note for note, cut for cut playing favorites such as Rhiannon, Don’t Stop, You Make Loving Fun, Go Your Own Way, Dreams and many others.

Freddy Jones Band

January 27, 2021

Crest Theatre, Delray Beach 8PM

Modern rock radio hits rarely offer a band any street cred for its live show, but don't tell that to Chicago's Freddy Jones Band who have the hits (including the #1s "In A Daydream" and "One World") but earned a truly decided fanbase from its anthemic concerts, which feature a blend of technical wizardry with air-tight, melodic, roots/rock songwriting. There's no surprise that FJB has been packaged live with everyone from Dave Matthews Band to Bruce Hornsby to Hootie & The Blowfish and that their consistent songwriting resume has earned an organic, career-retrospective "This is: Freddy Jones Band" playlist on Spotify.  Led by original singer and songwriter Marty Lloyd and former Samples bass player Rich Ross, Freddy Jones Band continue to be mainstays at hard ticket venues and events, from Boston to Chicago to San Francisco and everywhere in between with more recorded music to come in 2020.

With great songs and musicianship, the only thing the band can't say they've ever had is a member named Freddy Jones.  But, no one has complained.

Livingston Taylor & Jonathan Edwards

February 24, 2021

Crest Theatre, Delray Beach 8PM

Livingston Taylor
From top-40 hits “I Will Be in Love with You” and “I’ll Come Running,” to “I Can Dream of You” and “Boatman,” the last two recorded by his brother James, Livingston’s creative output has continued unabated. His musical knowledge has inspired a varied repertoire, and he is equally at home with a range of musical genres—folk, pop, gospel, jazz—and from upbeat storytelling and touching ballads to full orchestra performances.

Livingston has never stopped performing since those early coffeehouse days, shared the stage with major artists such as Joni Mitchell, Linda Ronstadt, Fleetwood Mac, Jimmy Buffett, and Jethro Tull, and he maintains a busy concert schedule, touring internationally. He is a natural performer, peppering his shows with personal stories, anecdotes and ineffable warmth that connect him to his fans. His relaxed on-stage presence belies the depth of his musical knowledge, and fans might just as often be treated to a classic Gershwin or something from the best of Broadway.
Jonathan Edwards
Warm as summer sunshine, real as the truth, intimate as a long overdue visit between old friends ... such is a Jonathan Edwards concert. Four decades into a stellar career of uncompromising musical integrity, the man simply delivers, night after night - songs of passion, songs of insight, songs of humor, all rendered in that pure and powerful tenor which, like fine wine, has only grown sweeter with age.

Classic Albums Live Performs Rolling Stones, Let it Bleed

March 20, 2021

Old School Square Pavilion, Delray Beach 8PM

This highly-acclaimed album released by The Rolling Stones in 1969 has “tones that are at once dark and perfectly clear, while the words are slurred and buried for a stronger musical effect” according to Rolling Stone Magazine’s review.  The band carries the songs past lyrics and into pure emotion.  There’s an obscure but tangible story line that follows the collection of songs that include “Gimme Shelter,” “Midnight Rambler,” “Let it Bleed,” and “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.”  Classic Albums Live performs the album in its entirety note-for-note, cut-for-cut and recreates one of the Rolling Stones’ most treasured albums.

Touch & Go The Cars Tribute

April 07, 2021

Crest Theatre, Delray Beach 8PM

A stylistically unique tribute band from day one, the members of Touch & Go have been performing and playing in sync as if they’d been together their entire musical careers. Throughout the course of the band’s union, they have won over the hearts of music lovers all the while staying true to the Cars music.
With their sleek, mechanical sound inspired by proto-punk, garage rock, and bubblegum pop, Boston-based quintet the Cars racked up a string of platinum albums and Top 40 singles, becoming the most successful American new wave band of the late '70s and early '80s.

The group's eponymous debut album appeared in the summer of 1978 and it slowly built a following thanks to the hit singles "Just What I Needed" (number 27), "My Best Friend's Girl" (number 35), and "Good Times Roll" (number 41). The Cars stayed on the charts for over two-and-a-half years, delaying the release of the group's second album, and it eventually sold over six million copies.  The Cars broke up in 1988, but their music's popularity and influence never faded.

experience that you won't soon forget!
